What the infant room looks like, and how your baby spends the day.
Infants here learn through faces, voices, and movement. Staff talk with babies through sounds and expressions, which builds nonverbal communication long before words arrive. Tummy time and floor play give them room to roll, reach, and push up, working on gross motor skills.
Socialization starts early too. Babies watch each other, share a room, and learn that other small people exist nearby. Staff hold and cuddle them one-on-one, so each baby gets quiet attention through the day, not just group time.
Feeding follows the Child and Adult Care Food Program infant feeding patterns. Staff check diapers regularly and change them as needed. If you want to know how your baby's own rhythm fits the day, ask us on a visit.
Infants work on nonverbal communication, gross motor skills, and socialization. That means back-and-forth sounds and expressions with staff, floor time for rolling and reaching, and time near other babies. Staff build in one-on-one holding and cuddling as part of the day. Ask about your baby's feeding and diaper routine.
Toddlers here work on independence and on becoming who they are. The room is set up so they can explore, try things on their own, and learn through play. Ask about the daily rhythm and what your toddler will do.
The after school program is built for parents who work late. Kids get a snack, help with homework, and time to play. It is a structured space where they can socialize with other children at the end of the school day. Ask about pickup and how the afternoon is paced.
We know having your baby away from you is a big deal. Staff stay with you through the transition and help make it as smooth as they can. The infant room has a home-like feel. Ask to see it, and ask what the first drop-off looks like.
Infant days move on the baby's schedule, not the clock. Babies spend time on the floor working on rolling and reaching, listen to staff talk and answer with sounds, and are held one-on-one through the day. Feeding follows CACFP infant feeding patterns. Diapers are checked regularly and changed as needed.
The gains show up at home. Your baby may start reaching for your face, turning toward your voice, or calming when they hear a familiar tone. These are the early pieces of communication and movement, built through repetition in a room that feels like home.
