Seven programs, from infants through school-age children

Each program is built for what that age can do next.

Programs by age

from 6 weeks

Infant Care Program

In the infant room, teachers focus on nonverbal communication, gross motor skills, and socialization. Staff hold and cuddle babies one-on-one through the day, and tummy time and circle time give even the youngest something to reach for. Diapers are checked regularly and changed as needed. Feeding follows the CACFP infant patterns.

Toddlers Program

Toddler rooms are set up for movement. Children walk, climb, and explore without being told to sit still, and teachers help them try things on their own. Toilet learning is supported here whenever a child is ready. Meals and snacks follow the CACFP child feeding patterns.

Two children sit at a table with plastic food containers; one child in an orange top smiles and gestures while a child in a blue shirt holds a sandwich.

Preschool Program

Preschoolers explore their environment, learn new skills, and start making friends with classmates. The day includes literacy and language activities, lessons in personal responsibility, and violence prevention. The goal is to have your child ready for a smooth move into kindergarten.

Ages 3-12

After School Program

After school, children get a snack and a structured place to be until you finish work. Staff help with homework, and daily interactive activities give kids time to socialize and play. It is a safe environment for ages 3 through 12.

Drop-In Day Rates

Some families need care for a single day or now and then, not a full schedule. Drop-in days give your child a spot in the same rooms, with the same teachers and the same routine. Drop-in care is subject to availability, so ask ahead.

Emergency Drop-In Care

When something comes up the same day and you need care fast, call. Andy's provides prompt, dependable emergency childcare in Brooklyn and tries to accommodate parents who need it that day. Staff work to ease the stress quickly.

Special Needs Care

Andy's provides early care for children with special needs and developmental support as part of the day. Teachers monitor development and therapy counseling is available on site. Families can ask what their child needs and how the room can meet it.
