What to know before your child starts at Andy's Daycare.

Policies

Appointments

Please schedule visits in advance so your child gets personal attention. Arrive a few minutes early for check-in and paperwork. If you need to cancel or reschedule, give at least 24 hours' notice so the time can go to another family.

Emergencies

Urgent issues can come up at any time. If your child has a toothache, dental trauma, or another urgent problem, call the office right away. Emergency situations are prioritized and staff will work to see your child as soon as possible.

Fees & Insurance

We accept ACS and HRA vouchers, as well as self-pay. If you use a voucher, we can confirm what it covers before your child starts. Any amount your voucher does not cover will be explained to you in advance. Payment is due according to the plan we set up with you. Call us to go over your benefits and sort out the details. We keep billing simple and clear.

Communication

Clear communication matters here. If you have a question about care, billing, or scheduling, ask. The team is happy to help. You can reach Andy's Daycare by phone or email, and staff will respond as quickly as possible.

Give Your Child a Bright, Healthy Smile

Families across Brooklyn have trusted Andy's Daycare for over 24 years. Infants are welcomed from 6 weeks, and after school care runs for ages 3 to 12. Ask about drop-in rates, emergency drop-in care, and special needs care.

What this looks like in practice

In a home-like daycare, the day has a shape children can count on. Drop-off, play, meals, rest, and pick-up happen in the same order most days. You can see cubbies for coats and bags, low tables, and shelves with toys at a child’s height. Staff write down naps, bottles, and moods so you know how the day went. Ask us how we handle schedules, late pick-ups, and sick days.

Clear policies give children a predictable day. When drop-off and pick-up follow the same routine, children settle faster and cry less at goodbye. When staff know who is authorized, a child feels safe leaving with the right person. That steadiness is what parents notice at home.
